Duncan Distortion = DiMarzio Distortion?

Hi all,

I was just wondering how the Duncan Distortion compares to a Dimarzio distortion. Are they approximately the same? If not, which Duncan pickup would compare to a Dimarzio Distortion?

And what about a Paf Pro at the neck? Comparable to a Jazz or a 59?

I think that Sd distortion has a modern sound that the Dimazio, witch is more like early 8o' heavy metal sound
