duncan distortion wiring problem

Hey guy, I bought a used Duncan Distortion pickup in like new condition. I installed it in my rg321 and I don't think I did it right. It didn't come with any instructions so I kinda just winged it. Here is how I wired it......

The guitar is right-handed and with it laying face down on my lap and the neck going towards my left arm.
-black wire to the leftmost leaf on the switch
-red & white wires on the 5th leaf from the left
-green & bare soldered to the back on the volume pot

The 321 has 2 humbuckers and as I have it wired i get full humbucker in the 1st position and both inner coils in position 2. I'm just not sure I have the wiring correct cuz this pickup does not seem to have alot of gain. I bought it cuz it was supposed to be a hot pickup but as I have it wired it really does not have much more gain to it than the inf4 it replaced. Any help y'all could give would me greatly appreciated.

I called a couple places to see if they could help me but since I didn't buy either the guitar or pickup from them they would not help and the shop where I bought the guitar has moved 3 hours away from where I live.

go to seymour duncan's website. they have schematics online. just type in your pickup/electronics configuration, and you're good to go.

and the distortion is a hot pickup. trust me!

All I would need to see is a picture of the inside of the guitar. It sounds like you have it wired right but I wouldn't know without seeing.
