Electrostatic Shielding For Pickups?

Hey guys, I know it's there, but what exactly is it and where can I find it? I have been stripping my rg7's finish-gone-bad and in case the stripper eats this away, I need to know where I can get some for it again. Thanks.

David

Ibanez either uses metallic foil or conductive paint inside the control cavity for EM shielding. Just don't strip inside the cavities and you'll be fine. If you do strip it off, you can get shielding supplies at Stewart-Macdonald.

Agreed.

I prefer the copper tape type shilding. Get it in like 3" width and cut
to size. I also go the extra mile and solder it together with one wire
that goes to the bridge.

A bit anal, but if I'm going to do work, I'm only going to do it once!
