EMG-85s and single coil help
hey i took my rg350ex apart and start messing around. i have a fender style 5 way switch, the emgs dont allow for coil taps. im having ALOT of trouble wiring this. i got the neck and bridge in 1 and 5 but the rest is dead i cant even get the single coil to work. is there suppose to be a current thru the capacitor? i checked with a volt meter and it didnt show there was one, could this be my problem? or does that only effect the tone. does anyone have the wiring diagram for this? also the single coil is passive and someone told me that its bad to combine passive and active pick up like that. i appreciate any help i can get thank you for your time.
