EMG Hz?

I hate active pickups, simple as that

Which is why I'll be swapping out the pups in my soon to be new axe, for passives. Now, I did some searching on YT for sound clips of EMG Hz's and they don't sound too bad, rather good to me. I guess that's what you expect from someone like EMG, but I couldn't find any clips of the EMG HZ single coils.

Do they sound as good as the humbuckers do?

Has anyone had problems with these before?

Re: EMG Hz?

I haven't tried the singlecoil but I did try and EMG HZ humbucker in the neck of my RG and it sounded absolutely nothing like their active pickups and rather poor in comparison to Duncan or Dimarzio passives.

Hey man, I've still got those pups for ya however, I'm taking a more passive route and going with a TZ/Evo set up

If you've got either of those I'll do a trade and like some cash if you want
