Evo + Air Norton on mahogany?

I've got an Evo in the bridge of my RG620 and it sounds great, now I'm thinking about a suitable pickup for the neck position. The Air Norton seems a popular choice (although it usually seems to go with the ToneZone..). Would Evo + AN be a good combination?

My only concern, after looking at the tone chart on the dimarzio site, is that it might be a bit be a bit 'dark' when using the middle position (one coil from each pickup afaik).
Maybe a PAF Pro or neck Evo would be a better bet?

in a mohogany guitar it'll be a bit dark, but if that's what your goin for then sweet! if you have a high powered bridge pickup check out a Fred for the neck or a PAF Pro or a Breed. Those are all great neck pickups.

Hmm I'm happy to have quite a dark tone with the pickup in the neck position, but I'm worried that it'll makes things too dark/muddy when playing with the middle position (3-way selector switch).

Maybe the Evo will brighten it up enough to compensate?
