Evo (bridge) and Air Norton (neck)....

I am planning to upgrade Ibanez 1570 Prestige stock pups with Evolution on bridge and Air Norton on neck. My question is ...would they stack any good ?
Later on I will replace middle pup with Blue Velvet. Any oppinion on that perhaps? Would that be a good combo ?

I play from energic blues, rock to metal.

Well.....today I changed stock V( pickup at bridge in 1570 Prestige with DiMarzio Evolution and I am very satisfied with it ! So much more dynamics and harmonics all over the neck. Love it

Now I need to change neck pup as well....so my answer still stands from orig post.....or should I go for Paf PRO on neck ?

I like the Air Norton as a neck pickup just fine. It's supposed to combine well with high-output bridge pups, so it seems like a reasonable choice for you. I think the cleans sound great in parallel mode yet it seems to have pretty decent power wired in series. Of course, as with all pickup recommendations/descriptions, your experience may vary wildly.

Well...my final setup is Evo on bridge and Paf PRO in neck. It is fantastic
My 1570 Prestige now sings. Very very satisfied.....
