Evo/Evo2 in Mahagony RG?

How do these pickups sound in an Ibanez RGT, mahogany body, neck thru?

i installed recently the evo2 in my mahogany s and blows...
high output, bright with screaming harmonics.

it might be too bright in a RGT, which is a maple neck thru. the mahogany is just the wings of the body... so the sound is mostly influenced by the maple.
maybe a darker pickup like a tone zone, air zone, or breed would work better (IMHO).

i heard breed sounds too muddy in a mohoghany body.
and yess thornium does not make any sense lol
