Evolution Neck and Evolution Bridge

I have a (new) Evolution Bridge pickup i want to install in my Yamaha-baby, but i also think that later on i want to try it in the neck-position (after i made a new pickguard and cut away enough wood to fit a humbucker there). Now i could still switch the bridge for a neck pickup, but to be honest, i don't really know what difference there is between them.

I read that a neck-pup in a bridge position can be cool, but i did not really see anything about a bridge-pup in a neck position. So, are the neck-pups just more versatile?

Well, basically: what's the difference, how big is the difference?

They're EQed differently and have different outputs.

Neck pickups generally have less bass and bridge pickups generally have higher output.

Go to www.dimarzio.com and compare the two.

How big is the difference? Could you determine the difference by ear? If so, any suggestions which one is the most 'neutral' as a choice?
