Evolutions in a PRS?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone here could be able to help me out with my pickup woes.

I recently installed a DiMarzio Evo in my PRS in the bridge position, I basically soldered it in the same way the old Dragon II treble was in. When I tried it out, I get a horribly weak output that sounds like a cheap ass single coil got kicked in the nuts.

So my question is, do any of you have tried to install Evos or any other DiMarzio pups in a PRS? Could you maybe redirect me to some wiring diagrams? Thanks a bunch.

Email DiMarzio's tech support. DiMarzio uses a different color code for their wires. You probably wired the pickup in parallel.

PRS pickups aren't wired like anyone else's. DiMarzio will have the correct wiring diagram.

Offhand I'm not sure about Evos in a PRS body or any other mahogany body. I'd have thought Tone Zone and Air Norton would be the way to go.

That's what PRS recommends for an aftermarket replacement in the custom 24.

Would you bend over and take it in the rear if PRS told you it would sound good?

No, I've never bought a PRS.
