F-Spacing


ok so ive got a S470 with a ZR trem, i was wondering if i needed an f spaced pickup to put in it? im pretty sure i do im just making sure.

yes , it would be better but isn't required .Either way it does not affect the sound .So if all you can find is standard dont worry about getting f-spaced . It is really more cosmetic then anything

Do a forum search there is quite a bit of info about f-spced pickups .

I have one in my S470 and it looks fine. Its not F spaced but i dont mind. Your hand covers up it when you play anyways.

F-Space pickups are for a Floyd Rose Tremolo System, so if you have one, the pickup poles will align with the strings. none F spaced pickups will work too, but they will be a little missaligned on your ibanez.
