I wish I knew, I only have one set neck guitar and it has Duncans in it, and I've decided that I hate the sound of that guitar.
However, I've always been of the opinion that a guitar's construction has very little effect on its tone. There could be an argument made that it affects sustain, for example, but that's not "tone" to me. Throw in the fact that "tone" is an extremely subjective thing and I don't really think there's a good answer to this question.
