Hi, I bought a 2nd hand 90's model Fernandes on the bay. It comes with a factory stock 401 kit. Looked at trouble shooting topics and searched on here and on the net and have found no solution.
The high E has almost no sustain while all the other strings have lots of volume & infinite sustain. Open high E, frets 1-24 = very little to almost no sustain.
I've tried new strings, heightening the action, lowering the action, heightening and lowering the driver pickup in the neck, heightening and lowering the action on the bridge pickup, adjusted the trim pots and it's still the same problem...
Everything works 100% except the High E string.
Does anyone else use 9's and have high e problems with the
sustainer?
