FYI-EVO center pick ups available
I don't know if this was mentioned here before... I was completeing a project guitar, and asked the fine folks at DiMarzio tech what the difference was between the JEM single coil and the Evolution center coil, called the ISCV-2, and are they available in the states. Here's his reply.
"The V2 is available in the US direct from us. The price is $69.00. The V2 is a good deal warmer-sounding than the V1 (the original JEM single), but the output level is still fairly low."
I replaced the HS-2 in my guitar(neck and bridge evolutions) with the evo single coil, and man, what a difference! Amazing position 2 and 4 sounds!
