GFS pickups that sound EVO?

Does anyone know of any guitar fetish pickups that are similar sounding to the Evo? or heck even the Evo II?

I would just shop around for a used EVO or EVO2 on 3bay if you are concerned about the $, or just save up another $30. I might also suggest trying a guitar with EVOs in it first, they don't work for everyone. The EVO 2 sounds much better IMHO.

The GFS pickups are pretty well made, but I don't think there is one that sounds like an EVO, I haven't tried all their stuff either. If you really want a GFS, try contacting them and explaining what kind of sound you are going for, they are nice guys and will usually get back to you quickly.

I doubt that GFS have any EVO sounding pups. I have a Dream 180 and it sounds like a PAF PRO, but hotter, and maybe a little less defined.

Going for a Vai type sound. Certain midrange frequency's and stuff.
