good pups for swamp ash body?

Got a new swamp ash jem body and not sure of what pups will work well in it. Plan to use a maple/ebony neck with it probably. Looking for a rich sound with some good bottom end to it. I think the ash body and ebony board will provide the right amount of pop and highs to balance out some thicker pups well, but what to use.

i am building a jem myself. i am going with duncans, tho. stag mag in the neck and custom in the bridge. going more for a stratty thing with it due to the ash body. sounds like you would definitely want the breeds as well. good luck with the project.

Duncan Distortion or a Duncan JB. A Custom Custom would probably sound pretty good in that as well.
