GRG270+Pcikup?!

Greetings

This is my first post on Jemsite,
I hope this is the right place to post

Guys, i have a Grg270b and a Randall v2XM(Michael Amott Edition) amp,really like both things, but i would like to know if it worth to upgrade my guitar with a new pickup, i was think about EMG81 or some SeymourDuncan pickup,(or even a Bill Lawrence L500,dunno if they still out there , im a big fan of dimebag = D btw).

I have a question about this guitar. I have just installed a demarzio Tone zone in the bridge. Never done this before, the pickup works, but i find there is hardly any difference between the Tone Zone and the neck pickup which is still stock.

You couldnt hear any difference between the stock bridge pickup and the neck, Thats way im comparing them. I took it this was because the pickups are rubbish, which is why i installed the Tone Zone.

Am i expecting to much, or could there be something wrong. I was expecting a better tone and higher output, not an almost identical sound

These are the stock pickups, the guitar was only £230

The Bill Lawrence's are still out there and I highly reccomend them www.wildepickups.com for the genuine ones
