Question

H-S-S pickups for a Chandler

Hy all.

I own an old Chandler guitar, the boy looks like a RG, with one humbucker on the bridge and 2 single coils.the pickups in the guitar just wont do it for me, and now i`m looking for some options to upgrade my guitar.i really whould like to have a really heavy sound, cause i play mostly rock and metal.

I don`t have any experience with pickups, so i thougt you guys maby could try and help me.

Tnx!

What do you mean by heavy? High gain? lots of low end?

tone zone, chopper, air norton S - in that order..
or go for a d activator instead of the tone zone.

Cool. Umm, have a look around the Dimarzio website to start off and get an idea. I think the D-activators look pretty good, but haven't had a chance to try them.

I have a pair of Bareknuckle Miracle Man 'buckers in my rosewood board tele and they are raucous!

There's also always the option of going active with a set of EMGs.
