Heavy Blues in Bridge? Or other in Strat

I have a G&L Strat with YMJ's in the upper positions and a HS-3 in the bridge. The bridge sounds a bit dry not much "personality". I would like something with some more bite but I can't get to hot or the YMJ won't balance well. I want to keep a somewhat classic rockish tone ala Rainbow or a bit heavier. It has to have good pick response. How is the newest Heavy Blues, it was updated this year. Or, should I use a Paf in the bridge?

Try a JB junior in the bridge - they work well with YJM's.

James byrd use a YJM in the neck and a vv54 in bridge.

I really like his sound especially in bridge, i find the neck nice but maybe slightly to thick but like it anyway

I don't know the new 54PRO compare but if you like his sounds it's worse asking dimarzio tech support
