HELP!! IBZ/ EMG Wiring

I had the stock pickups in my Rg420 replaced with dimarzios. Im trying to put one of the original IBZ/ EMG's in a squier for a buddy of mine. It has a bare wire, a red . and a white. The only diagrams i have seen for emgs are active, these are passive but the wiring is consistent with those which are active. Im just not sure what goes where...any guidence is appreciated. thanks in advance

I had a set in my RG. Red to the switch, white and bare to the pot(ground).
