Help identifying DiMarzio Pickups

Hi,

I need some help identifying 2 dimarzio humbucker pickups, they were pulled from an early parker nitefly. Any ideas?

One is marked on the back (Dimarzio pickups - Made in USA - B 3)
And the other has a sticker (P/N-396 neck, PHWN2BLKR)

Thanks for you help!
Kevin

I think it's an OEM pickup.

I think you're right about OEM. Otherwise it would have a DP number somewhere

Re: Help identifying DiMarzio Pickups

I've been compiling a list of information on Dimarzio OEM pickups. I don't remember the source for this, but this is what I have for the B3:

B3 Parker / somewhat similar to a Breed bridge

So it's an OEM on a Parker.

The other pickup (PHWN2BLKR) I don't have any info on.

Re: Help identifying DiMarzio Pickups

Dimarzio just got back to me...

"They are OEM humbuckers we made for Parker, and are not identical to any of our standard models. The N2 is fairly similar to a Fred and the B2 to a Breed bridge model, although both are brighter-sounding than the latter."

Thanks,
Kevin
