Iv'e just recieved a
dimarzio chopper in the post,
my guitar is a
yamaha pacifica. i have no knowledge of wiring pickups whatsoever so i hope you guys can help.
from the current neck pickup there is one red cable, a bare wire and a white wire come out of this. the bare wire goes to the metal casing of the volume pot while the white wire goes to a terminal on the pickup switch.
from my new dimarzio pickup there is one large black cable, a red wire, a green and bare wire (soldered together), a black wire and a white wire (
both soldered together and taped up.
if someone could be kind enough to explain which wire replaces which i would be very greatfull.
