help wiring an output jack on my 77dbk

my output jack died recentlly, im trying to put in the new one but i dont knbow which wires to put where. i have one main grey wire that has a thin white wire that comes out and also has braided metal (wire?) coming out. it was my understanding that of the 3 heads on the output jack the small one is the + and i dont wire anything to that, where do i put the other 2. any help would be much appreciated, ive already melted the carpet, hahah uh oh. any help will be much appreciated

Hey Chris

The braided wire goes to the inside (middle) connection and the white goes to the connection on the left hand side (with connectors pointing upwards).
Thats assuming the white wire comes from the middle connection on the volume pot and the braided goes to earth (top of pot)
