Help with pickups on a RGA121

Hi All!

I am going to toss down some cash on a RGS121NTF, and I want to upgrade the pickups to a Mo Joe and a PAF Joe. I have a few questions:

1. What spacing do I get on the pickups? F spaced bridge and normal neck?

2. What positions are best for the Mo Joe and PAF joe? which goes in the bridge and which in the neck?

3. Will the mo joe and paf joe be a good match for this guitar?

Thanks =)

Re: Help with pickups on a RGA121

ok I feel like a moron for asking where the pickups go lol. I went to the website, and the mo joe is for the bridge, paf joe is neck.

But I am still curious on the string spacing of the RGA =)

thanks =)

f-spacing on the bridge and normal spaced neck would be fine . You can put in a non f-spaced pickup in a gutiar with wider string spacing with no adverse effects on sound or tone . Some argue this i have done it ad my current guitar that has a floyd has a non f-spaced pickup and it sounds just as good as the other guitar i had the same pickup in only it was f-spaced with a floyd .

i dont think you should get pickups that you didnt know were they belong but i dont think you need f spaced pickups, because its not a floating bridge , but i really like the sound of the duncan distirions in the rga, my dad threw them in his, and it screams.
but those pick ups you listed im sure will sound fine in any guitar, just depends on your amp, as there not really powerful pick ups you need a good amp to get what you want out of them
