How do i direct mount my pickups?

Hey Guys, im in the process of building an RG570, but dont want pickup rings, so id love it if someone can tell me how to directly mount my pickups to the body....and do i need pickups springs?...and can i use the screws provided witht the pickups i bought?
Any information is greatly apreciated.

This isn't the most aesthetically pleasing way, or I doubt the best. But I just drilled out the thread on the pickup arm thingys, packed under the pickup with foam for support then used a couple of 1" self tapping screw's. It works really well, the pickup is in no danger of falling out.........ever, and it doesn't look too bad.
