HSS recommendations?

Has anyone got any HSS recomendations for me?
Mahogany guitar with a vintage trem, looking for a classic rock to metal type of sound

Well, with mahogany, you likely won't need too much output: you could try a Dimarzio PAF Pro or Duncan equivalent in the bridge position, or perhaps an EVH Frankenstein humbucker. For the middle position, I don't know -- I almost never use mine. For the neck position, I like my stock Fender pickup on my Strat, but one of their Texas Hot (IIRC) pickups could really be nifty.

Is this in a Strat-style body, with the 25.5-inch scale neck?

Then do something like
