Hum - Single - Hum Wiring

I just bought the Tone Zone and the Humbucker from Hell for my Ibanez RG. I have a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. for the single coil middle position and I need some advice on wiring these three up standard "humbucker single coil humbucker" with a five way switch. I was looking at a wiring diagram from Dimarzio but the single coil only shows two wires "red and black" the JB Jr. is a four conductor pickup.

I want a full humbucker in pos. 1 and 5, a true single in 3 and split the humbucker and single in pos. 2 and 4

My Ibanez was wired with the V8 S1 V7 two conductor pickups so I want to make sure I'm wiring it correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

It's the stock 5 pos. switch that comes with the guitar.

Re: Hum - Single - Hum Wiring

ok, what color are the wires on this single coil? And when you say true single in 3, do you mean both sides of the Duncan acting as one single? If so then according to this, all you would do is solder the red and white leads together, run the black lead to the switch and the green and bare ground to the chassis ground.

If thats the case then this wiring diagram should work just fine. Just sub the red from the single coil for the green grounds.

Re: Hum - Single - Hum Wiring

After trying the wiring suggested above the duncan was out of phase. I wound up wiring the black and green together, the red to the switch and the white and bare to ground. Now I get nice strat like tone in pos. 2 and 4 and a real full, thick sound in 3 and of course the Dimarzio's rock.

Thanks for the help.
