Humming Killswitch

Wired a killswitch into my thinline tele in place of neck tone control. Basically, it's a two way switch just before the output jack with position one wired up and two grounded. The only problem is that it hums a bit in the "off" position as though some signal is getting through or it's not grounded properly, which doesn't happen when I select a pickup in the "on" position and roll off all the volume. Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this?

Re: Humming Killswitch

Sorry, did some research and fixed the problem. I used the wrong method (interrupting signal path) beforehand, but got it sorted now. Mods, feel free to lock/delete/do whatever you have to do
