this is the second time it's happened to one of my guitars. the guitar is normal and fine one moment (no humming noise) and the next moment, the guitar starts things annoying humming sound for some unknown reason. i was just trying to adjust the alignment of the
neck pickup to get the sound i want. after touching the pickup, guitar starts the humming noise. it's the kind of hum that gets louder when you go near the amp, very annoying. hum is loudest at position 2 and 4 of the selector. position two is the
bridge pickup in parallel mode, position 4 is the neck pickup split. the other positions have a little humming sound too but not as loud as in 2 and 4. i think the ground wire probably get loose or something. how do I check if electronics are grounded properly ?
