i hate emg

ok so i have wired up my rg350 2 times now with emg that worked fine in my dinky and the pots do nothing, tone does nothing and volume does not turn it off, also on my telecaster which i made into an esquire and took the neck pup out of to put into my rg for h/s/h does the same dam thing (also emg) WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG, never had this problem before and i have moved my emg's a ton of times.

ya with an emg tele pickup in the bridge, my tele has had emg's in it for about 4 years.

If your pots do nothing while they usually work, it can only be your wiring which is wrong.

i'd take it to a guitar tech to check out your wiring - if it worked before it should work again!

sounds less like "i hate emg" than "i hate wiring" dude, the active pickups use different pots, so it's doubtfull they would work by just swapping the pickups over, get to a tech or decent shop and explain.

What about the jack? Don't you need the one that comes with EMG's?
