Ibanez RG electronics specification

I have a Ibanez RG550, year 2000/2001, and I want to know more about the specifications of the electronics of it. I mean, the pots capacity, the wire circuit, etc. Where I can find that information? Someone told me that with a better circuit I could get a better tone. Do you know which is the best circuit for an RG/JEM? Please give me some lights

Ok, I discovered in http://www.ibanez.com/parts/2001_PAR...HEET/RG550.htm that it's 500K pots. I've heard that 250K pots will give a more fat sound, it's true? I want to substitue the V8 pup with a ToneZone, but I don't know if I should change also the pots and even the capacitors.
