install 2 emg sa and keeping the passive humbucker

Hi everyone, I have a Ibanez SA series with two passive single coil pickups and a humbucker in the bridge, also passive. I want change the two single coil pickups for two emg sa (active) and keep the humbucker. The problem I have is that there are only one tone pot (500k) and one volume pot, so I canīt change the pot for the one that comes with the emg's (25k). Wath is the effect that the 500 k pot causes on the emg's sound? This is briefly explained in the EMG site, but I don't understand what they mean. Also I'd like to know if is it even posible to do a wiring keeping the passive humbucker, and how it would be.

What if you diteched the tone pot, and put the 25K EMG volume pot in there, and kept the other one for your humbucker? You should be able to do that, dedicated volume for each sort of pickup.

Install the EMG 25kOhm volume and tone pots. Buy the EMG preamp and use it with the humbucker.
Then, you can connect both pickups via switch.
