Installing Push/Pull tone pot(s)

I am currently experimenting with wiring and setup in an old Squier of mine and I want to install a push/pull tone pot. It looked to me like it would be easy, just match what it was already like on the current pot on the new one... until I saw the bit on the bottom of it. I have no idea what to do...

What do I need to do, in general lol?
Do I need anymore wire?
Do I need to buy a capacitor(s), if so where do I put it?
Diagrams that can be understood by 15 year olds would be useful lol

Thanks!

Re: Installing Push/Pull tone pot(s)

well you can use a push pull pot for a few things, one of the most common is as a coil tapper. where you split a humbucker into a single coil. If you have a humbucker and it has three wires (a ground usually bare wire, a hot wire and a coil tap wire) then you can wire it up like that.

you could also wire up what is called a high pass cap. It is a small cap that lets you roll off your tone without loosing high end clarity. this only needs a small 330 pf cermaic disc cap and push pull pot.

either way you'll need a soldering iron, solder, and maybe some small wire and electrical tape.
