Is there an internal difference between a Cor-tek 2502n and a cor-tek 5p toggle switc

Hi guys, my toggle switch Cor-Tek 5202N on my S series 520 died on me and i got a replacement cor-tek 5P switch! I've noticed that i had to wire it slightly different to get it to work but the bridge selector is sounding a bit different. Is there any major differences between the two switches internally?

Yep, the 2505N is a special switch Ibanez uses in most HH guitars to get the stock pickup combinations. It is differently internally, I'm sure, but I couldn't say how. Regardless, you won't be able to get exactly the same combinations with a standard 5-way switch.

I happen to come across a 2502N switch but dont know how to wire it, any more info on that switch? Can't find info on it anywhere.. thanks
