Just did a Pickup swap, what to look for?

I did a pickup swap last night in my UV with Dimarzio pickups. Since it was basically a swap, I doubt I could have screwed anything up, and there is no noise or anything, so It seems to have gone O.K.. Anything I should be checking that I may have overlooked?

Not really, if all 5 positions sound good and different and if there is no noise then it sounds like a job well done

it's possible you put one or both in upside down. It's not a huge deal if you did though.

PS: Not 'magnets down' upside down, duh.

ROTFL

I post this tip a lot cause it's so simple people overlook it.

Plug your guitar into an amp, take an allen wrench and tap on the
pole pieces while in each switch position. This will tell you not only
if the pickups are working or not, but that the coils are wired correctly.

Also roll volume and tone up and down just to make sure they sound
the way you expect. Overall, if you swap Dimarzios for Dimarzios, it's
kinda hard to not get it right!

Congrats on your first swap!

I was more concerened about my soldering job and the wires coming loose or something. When I put the pickguard back on the body it seemed that the wiring was really tight and scrunched in there.
