Little help needed with SD pickups
I'm planning to buy me a 59
neck pickup
and JB for bridge in zebra colors (cream/black). I want the cream colored halves in the middle of the guitar so one has to be reverse zebra model.
Which one should be reverse? I'll probably order online so I cannot see them.

Try emailing
Seymour Duncan
. They might be able to give you specific colour codes so you can be sure you're ordering the right thing.

both have to be reversed zebra,a standard zebra duncan always has the creme coil on the screw side.

You are right. I found a picture showing them on SD website (had to guess a part of the url 'cause it was wrong there, just add "support/" in the link in their faq).
http://www.seymourduncan.com/website...versezebra.htm
Another question: I've seen pics of those pups with "Seymour Duncan" text and without it. Is it there on those pickups?

I believe that 59s do not have the seymour duncan text on it.

I have a 7-string '59 and it definitely says Seymour Duncan on it.
Dunno what their policy is with where they apply their logo, but they've only been doing it for a few years. Older Duncans won't have the logo, but most of the newer ones i've seen do.

That's interesting; my bad anyways! Loaded up the website, pictures show that the standard '59 has no logo, tb-spaced 59 has logo... maybe that explains why the '59-7 had a logo??
The Al II Pros dont have a logo either, afaik.

I don't think you can necessarily go by their Web site. Some of those photos may have been around since before they started printing on the bobbins at all.

Logos
You can order Duncans without the logo.

Well, I ordered two reverse zebras (59 neck and JB bridge) for my SZ520QMGAB. It's a factory order from my local guitar store so I hope they are at least consistent and send both with or both without logo
I conseidered ordering from Thomann but they didn't store reverse zebras either. Now I have to wait 1-2 months for them
