long barrel stereo input jack

on the long barrel input stereo jack, which tab is which?

The longest lug is ground.
The others, it's 50/50.

I just plug a jack in and see which one moves.

Usually the shortest is your output, the mid one is battery connection, and the longest as Vaibanez said, is ground...
