middle pick up suggestion for RG

I have a rg350dx, and I have a JB for the bridge and I will be buying either a PAF Pro or a Humbucker from Hell or a Fullshred in the neck. Which choices out of those would get me a defined and a "glassy" lead tone similar to Paul Gilberts. Also what middle pick up would you recommend?

I think Paul Gilbert used dual PAF Pros at one point. I know that he also used/uses the Tone Zone.

Yeah, for the neck humbucker he has definitely used PAF Pros as well as the Humbucker From Hell, so either choice would work. I don't know how well the Humbucker From Hell will work in conjunction with a single coil. The single coil pickups to consider in your computer would probably be the Blue Velvet (the pickup closest to what's in the PGM) or the Red Velvet (and equally lovely single coil pickup).

Re: middle pick up suggestion for RG

How's the Tone Zone in the neck? Has anyone put in a JB in the bridge in any of their Ibanez's. I'm not looking for a REALY heavy tone or a high output pickup, so that's why I decided to go with a JB. Out of those four choices what would you think is the best what, Humbucker from hell, Tone Zone, PAF Pro, Fullshred. Looks like I'll try the Blue Velvet. Would music stores like Sam Ash carry those?

I watched a video that JimmyJ posted of a RG with a JB in the bridge.

Re: middle pick up suggestion for RG

BTW, I would also like a middle pickup suggestion for my son's RG270DX. I plan on getting him a TZ/AN set, what would be a good Middle to put with those two. I have a Duncan Hotrail that has come out of the RT450 I'm building for him, would it be appropriate.

I got a PAF pro. My Sam Ash didn't carry Blue or Red Velvet single coils. They had a HS-3 or something single coil. Can I get some more opinions on a single coil in the middle position?

I'm hoping it's not as "heavy" as he described it. I might have to get a Tone Zone if I dont like the JB. I have high hopes for the JB though...
