Middle PUP for EVOs

I'm looking into purchasing EVO pickups for the bridge and neck on my RG1570.

I like the versatility of H-S-H so was wondering what to consider for a Mid PUP from the Dimarzio line of PUPS. Doubt the stock RG1570 S1 Middle PUP would blend...

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have absolutely no idea... Would love a clean strat sound from the mid pup if that helps.

Thanks

well, the ISCV2 is the obvious choice...
use the pickup picker on the dimarzio site to check out teh other options, there are plenty of them

As Jaden said the ISCV2 is the obvious choice, and the also HS-2 is very close.

But there are other nice SC to go there, IMHO: the red velvet or the true velvet are better than anything else in that combination.

Anyway remember that any pickup you get should be reverse wounded

Re: Middle PUP for EVOs

I use a Dimarzio Red Velvet in my Jem 90HAM with EVOs.
I like the way single coil output is more evenly balanced with the Humbuckers in the Universe.

So I went for a higher output single in the Jem. It is a great spanky pickup.
Like a Strat and Tele Mixed with lots more output and lots less noise.

Re: Middle PUP for EVOs

You might wait and see what the stock single sounds like with the Evo's on either side. I never use the single by itself and find that the #2 and #4 positions sound quite useable with DiMarzio's and the S1. You can do some fine tuning by raising or lowering the single.

Y'know, you can guy the EVO middle single coil. Dimarzio doesn't list it in their catalog but you can order one.
