Hi folks,
It's been a long time (1999) since i exchanged my Evolutions for Breeds in my white JEM. Now i'm installing
Seymour Duncans and by looking at the DiMarzio wiring diagrams the colors don't match.
Bare and white are soldered to ground, black is hot. Red & green are soldered together and wired at the
coil tapping position of the selector. I'm wondering now, what have i done???
It seems i have completely reversed the wiring. But have i messed it all up? Or did the PUs function normally, but with reversed polarity? Did i have disadvantages in comparison to the standard wiring? Maybe they sounded wrong all the time?
Questions, questions, questions. I hope someone can help me see through here...
