Need help identifying pickups


These are on a 70s Les paul Deluxe.

It looks like the Dimarzio DLX style pickup, but all the recent ones have flathead screwpoles, not allen wrench ones. But since Dimarzio started using the allens with the Super Distortion in the early '70's it could be something they made at some point. It's basically a Humbucker in the P-90 housing. Whether they were going for a "humbucker sound" or a P-90 sound that cancelled hum I have no idea.

By the way, I think your E string has a thing for your A string.
