Hey I'm not the greatest at
wiring. I was trying to reinstall the old rhythm pickup in my RG2EX1, which is an EMG-Contracted Ibanez. I had an EMG-HZ H1 in the rhythm position and a
DiMarzio Evolution in the bridge. I uninstalled the EMG from the rhythm position and it's wiring was very different than the Ibanez-EMG. The EMG has 5 wires and the Ibanez has two, a white and a black. The EMG has White & Black(taped off), red, and bare(ground). I disconnected the EMG and tried placing the old wires in place but something went wrong. Then the big problem came when i tried experimenting and unsoldered several wires going to my bridge pickup, and got everything messed up. Now everything is unsoldered, for I want to resolder everything to make sure I get it right. The DiMarzio Evolution has Red(hot), White and Black, Green, and Bare(grounds). If anyone could offer me some help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
