Need serious pickup help

Need pickup recommendations for a guitar project. Basswood body, h-s-s configuration, maple neck, 24 frets, 24 3/4" scale, rosewood fingerboard, and a floyd rose... It's a Jackson Fusion Pro. It will have a Duncan Distortion in the bridge but I am not sure what to get for the neck and middle pickups. I want a single coil sized humbucker in the neck to make it an h-s-h configuration and was thinking about possibly the lil screamin demon. Since I dont play lead I thought this would work to give me more versatility for cleans and rythm work. What do u think?

Also was thinking I want a true single coil in the middle. The gtr will have a 5 way switch and positions 2 and 4 will tap coils in conjunction with the middle single coil. Any pickups come to mind that will work for me?

You may also want to think about Dimarzio Air Norton S or Chopper for the neck.

courjan, I thought mixing duncans and dimarzio pickup in the same guitar was sacreligous, lol. Actually, i thought about doing that before but I was still in the same situation. I don't know enuff about Dimarzio pickup, tbh. I have just always used Duncans and been very satisfied.

Then put an AirNorton S in the neck and a Fender Vintage Noiseless in the Middle ...

BTW I really mean it .

Evo2 on bridge and Chopper on neck. Keep the stock middle pickup.

Re: Need serious pickup help

Your first choice, a little screamin demon in the neck is great. I have one in a Radius. (basswood, floyd, but 22 frets and 25.5" scale) and I like it a lot. I have a little 59 in the middle wired in parallel. Parallel wiring it makes it behave more like a vintage single in the middle.
