need wiring ideas for a rg-270 tone monster

so i just bought a 99 rg-270 dx (black), already blocked the p.o.s. trem and am starting to get pissed at how ****ty these stock pickups are. the v7's and v8's in my rg-470 when it was still stock were better than this (i changed them out for white paf pro's and i love em now). so i've decided to put a green steve's special in the bridge and a green humbucker from hell in the neck. also i'm going to replace the two stock pots and put in 2 push pull pots, and am considering ordering the jem 5-way switch (i'm a little uncertain of what it does differently and i actually own a jem, lol)
anyone have any suggestions on a way to wire a h/s/h config with a 5 way and 2 push pull pots?

also any ideas for a good single coil to match this setup i've picked out?

Either a DiMarzio HS-2 wired as a true single-coil (rather than a humbucker) or a DiMarzio Blue Velvet middle RWRP.

DiMarzio can provide the Vai wiring for the HS-2.

there must be some wiring mad scientists out there. also i have a question. can i wire up the guitar to function as a 4 knob guitar (separate tone and volume for each humbucker) while only having 2 push/pull knobs. i know there must be some cool wiring ideas for this but you all are just keeping them to yourselves it seems
