New to this please help!

Hi all,

I'm about to rewire/install new pickups on my RG505 - got a Paf pro, Jem single and a Fred (currently on the way). The current pickups on there at the moment are the V8/7 and the S1.

My pickup selector has gone dead/very quiet when switching to bridge position so i'll be getting a new one of those... question is will i need anything else like new pots?

Thanks

Need? No. However, if you are redoing the wiring you may as well put in higher quality pots - IMHO they do give a fuller tone and definitely feel better to use.
