newb question

Hello ther i just got a jem 7vwh and itīs awesome but i have some questions


1. i just put the bar on but it is not very sensitive to the move, is this normal? (since iīve seen vai do a lot of things with it and it looked like it made a great difference every time he moved it just a little and he could sort of sustain notes with it also.

2. What kind of basic and regular adjustments (and how frequently) do this jem needs?

3 What basic cleaning (not every cleaning method please) should i give it to keep it ok?

1. On a new guitar the springs are probably stiff. just play with the trem with some force and the springs will loosen up.

2. Basic setup (Ibanezrules.com - banner above)

3. Just wipe it down after playing.

Thanks Ibateur, i am doing now the clening after playing (with a soft rag) but what is the meaning of the "springs" and "stiff" ? (is it "hard"?)

stiff springs mean they just are tight, and need to be worn in a little to be more 'springy'
also for cleaning get maybe a small duster to clean dust in the headstock/bridge area where dust can be hard to clean.
