newby needing wiring help

i just had an ibanez given and all the wires are detatched,im not sure what kind of ibanez it is i only have the seria number which is A811883,its a 19 fret,3 single coil pick ups,1 vol,1 tone and one 6 pin toggle switch and a 5 way (vlx51) switch,the pick up wires are white,red and silver braid,
has anyone got a wiring diagram for this or can anyone help me sort it,cheers,neil

Hey Neil72,
I just posted a question in my other thread (H-S-H help) about how to wire pick-ups for a 3-wire system. I think I figured out the concept of it. I am waiting for someone to reply to tell me whether or not I have it right. If it is, it will apply to any guitar with 3-wire pups (and 5-wire), and you could use the info to wire yours. You might need to get a multimeter and do some resistance checking on your switch to determine what connectors are hot in each switch position, but that's not difficult.

thanks for the reply mate,iv sinse sorted it,well i think i have it works ok now and sounds great,i have th old style of switch and i think the guitar is a roadstar it has no markings so im not sure what model,its an s-s-s set up with 5 way and 2 way toggle for fade
if anyone needs a diagram ill post one up
trfsrfr-i would still be interested in seeing your diagram when you get it tho so i can compare
