Norton or Virtual Hot PAF for bridge?

Norton or Virtual Hot PAF for bridge of Alder strat? Those who have tried them both can you comment on your experience with the two?

Norton, sounds nice, kind of the Dimarzio JB/Duncan Distortion
Virtual hot PAF to me was very grainy sounding not at all a nice pickup to me
maybe with an uber clean vintage tube amp but eh nah.

Virtual hot PAF never really appealed to me. It doesn't seem special. The Norton's nice and distinctive, from what I've heard.
