Ok pickup gurus: how do I get middle split setting here?

I'm going to get me a set of the new DiMarzio John Petrucci pickups, and I would like to wire it like this:

1 Bridge humbucker
2 Bridge coil tap
3 Neck + bridge coil tap
4 Neck coil tap
5 Neck humbucker

The closest I can find is this wiring, which is the same as above but position 3 is the neck + bridge humbuckers.

So what would I need to do in order to get the switching I want?

I think you would need a superswitch like the VLX91.
That or you could go a 3 way switch with a push/pull for the coil tap, that would be the cheapest way, plus you get the option of both full humbuckers.

Contact Dimarzio via e-mail. If it can be done, they know how.

I thought about the 3-way + coil tap push/pull option, but I really dislike the sound of two humbuckers running at once (at least, when I can't adjust the volume of each pickup like on a Les Paul). Plus I'd prefer to be able to go instantly from bridge humbucker to bridge/neck single coil mode, and it's a little too finicky to flip the pickup switch AND pop up the volume control at the same time.

I'll email Steve at DiMarzio and see if he can help me. If all this fails I have a complete wiring harness from an RG1527 waiting to be dropped into a guitar, even though there are 2 settings on it which I'd probably never use.

Other than the VLX91, if you dont really need positions 2+4 with the individual humbuckers split, you could get a 4PDT 3 way like Petrucci uses to get the split humbuckers in the middle position, but you'd loose the neck split and bridge split selections.

I thought about that but none of these positions are an afterthought, they're all exactly what I want, in the order I want them.
