Optimum Dc resistance for Passive Humbuckers?

I've wonder this for a long time...

1-What is the optimum dc resistance for a humbucker's individual coils?
What is the perfect balance? 4k ohm + 4k ohm?

2-Should the coils be matched?
ie., 4030 ohms/ 4030 ohms or
would slightly off matches provide a better balance between hum and high end sparkle?

3-Some pups read 9k per coil, wouldn't these cause your clean to clip?

There is no optimum; great pups have been made with a wide variety of matching & non-matching coils. It just depends on your needs.

Resistance doesn't cause clipping; too high an output (measured in mv) does. There is a rough correlation between resistance and output, because all else being equal, more wire turns increases both. But all else ISN'T usually equal; magnet strength & design have a lot to do with output as well.
